Many Guatemalans lack the basic necessity of a workable shelter that keeps them dry, warm and safe.

Families Canada has been involved in many building and home repair
projects. These have included roof repairs, rebuilds of dangerous
foundations and stairs, kitchen additions, and "bathroom" repairs.
The Women's/Community Center in San Jorge is completed.
Buildings
and Home repairs are often expensive but are necessary to provide a
safe environment for these families. We endeavor to keep funds on hand
for these types of urgently needed projects.
